We have over 20 years of experience in supporting from small to mid-size companies with cost saving solutions to their day-to-day business operating needs.  

 Lorri is a natural born entrepreneur who calls Tacoma Home.   She was born and raised in Oklahoma where she found her passion for Business Finances early, as she had her first retail store with her sister at 10 years of age, located inside her grandmothers salon, called L&L Sweet Shop. Understanding the importance of higher education, Lorri not chose to graduate High School early, but to remain in school and enrolling into the Accounting Certificate program at Great Plains Area VoTech. In 1993 she graduated with her HS Diploma and a Certificate in Accounting. Deciding to become a master of her craft, Lorri then went on to complete her Bachelor of Accounting Degree from Cameron University in 1998.  In 2019, Lorri became a Certified Fraud Examiner focusing her attention on Risk Management and Consumer Protection.

 

Upon graduating, she started her career in Tacoma, Washington and founded Cornerstone Accounting & Business Solutions, LLC in 2011. Lorri has acquired over 20 years of knowledge in Business Development, Accounting, Audit, Tax, and Information Security, which has been used to support many Government Entities, Small Businesses, and Non-Profit Organizations in the states of Washington, California, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Alabama, the District of Columbia, and internationally for companies located in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Malesia, and Abu Dubai. Her industry experience in includes Restaurant, Retail, Construction, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Information Technology, Home Health Care, Non-Profit, Education, and Government Contracting. She also spends her time providing free Business Coaching and serving on various boards and committees at First United Methodist Church of Seattle, the Tacoma Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance, Tacoma Chapter. Lorri has been a member of the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance since 1998, where she served on the Board, Chaired the Scholarship Committee and the Student Mentorship Committee.   Lorri has been a member of the Tacoma Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. since 2013 where she serves as the Chair of the Financial Fortitude Committee and the Property Acquisition and Planning Committee.   Her clients and community reap the benefit her of her knowledge and expertise, that is being applied into a wealth of cost effective solutions resulting in financial and business sustainability.
